KACC Youth Ministry
Reaching the Youth; Touching eternity…………
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth;
that our daughters may be as corner stones,
polished after the similitude of a palace.
(Psalms 144 : 12)
Our Purpose
The purpose of KACC youth ministry is to;
- To provide the youths with a chance to worship God at their level and styles.
- To unite the youth groups in the Church from the teens to the young Adults ministry.
- To form small groups for discipleship and Bible study and prayer groups.
- To develop leadership skills among the Youths as they learn how to relate with one another and with their parents.
- To bring the youth together for fellowship, celebrate joys and challenges that are experienced within the group.
- Mobilize and motivate talents and abilities with the group (talents Shows) and presentations to the church on Youth Sunday.
- To train our youth more about our culture and our heritage, language, foods, music and clothing.
- Create learning forums to assist students with learning challenges.
- Offer canceling to the youth whenever need arises.
Youth Program
Our program includes;
- Providing the youth with a vibrant worship service that relates with their styles and gives them a true encounter with God.
- Weekend rallies, where we gather with other youth groups for a time of worship and be challenged by the word of God.
- Retreats and field trips, once every month.
- Camps twice a year in April and in July.
- Fellowship/ games/ Bible Study every Saturday afternoon at 2:00 pm
- Talent show; in collaboration with the young Adults ministry.
- Leadership development for the student council, once a month.
- Fundraiser campaigns; garage sales, carwash and many more of the kind.
