When Christians eat together they commune over their common need and God's provision. Meals are a daily reminder of their common need for God and His faithfulness to provide both physically and spiritually. (The members of the church ... brought their provisions for the meal with them and these were shared with the others. The breaking of bread and the blessing of the cup has already been confirmed as a special act at the end of the meal ... 1 Cor 14) This is why KACC reception committee believes that the church does not meet primarily to learn, but primarily meets so that it can be a family, where food is served and fellowship is made warm.
